The explosion is at its core a basic chemical process. It is a reaction in which the number of moles of the products is much larger than the moles of reagents.
First time I learned this I was amazed. For almost an hour I remained still and mesmerized.
Finally I exclaimed "everything makes sense!".
I had never understood many things before that moment. Why do they always teach me about moles and the fact that equal volumes of (perfect) gases contain the same number of moles?
What does it even mean volumes and moles?
And then you learn about explosion: if you get more moles after the reaction, they can not be contained in the same volume of the reagents, they have to expand. Fast. Booom.
So right now I am really passed off. I dare to say that I am about to explode.
Because of what reaction?
Fuck, I am just a patronising son of a bitch
