"Slaves to the Subliminal" is not only a Scar Symmetry song, it is also an appropriate description for my state right now.
As always I don't take the semantics for granted and I'm no sedated and hypnotized man with injected desires via subliminal control.
I'm a slave in the sense that the subliminal subjugates my will, it is a source of joy.
With subliminal I mean that sweet flavour brought by the stratification of piled meanings.
I live for the subliminal possibility of a hidden world, an unforeseeable deeper meaning.
There are signs, there is interpretation. And then there is the hunt.
I'm not really sure what this whole shit is about. But I kinda dig the subliminality of all this project.
